Missions
- The Finance Controller ensures accurate and timely financial reports and analysis to help the CFO and management in its strategic and business decisions.
- He/She is responsible for accounting and reporting systems and processes, including their continuous improvement.
- He/She supports the CFO on various strategic and corporate missions and closely cooperates with the accounting department.
Objectives
Financial Management – in support of the CFO
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in the closing of accounts and drawing up balance sheets for each activity, in support of the accounting team.
- Ensure the reliability and quality of management information and producing relevant alerts and analyses to anticipate and manage results.
- Provide strong support on strategic and corporate missions (fund raising, corporate and tax matters, …).
Financial analysis
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to drive business performance.
- Provide recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Ensure the reliability and quality of management information and producing relevant alerts and analyses to anticipate and manage results.
- Perform ad hoc analyses required by department managers to steer operations.
Information systems
- Participate in upgrading IT processes and tools.
- Participate in the evaluation process of the ERP project.
